LPC-S, LCDC · Owner & clinician

In addition to my clinical work, I founded ReHumanate Counseling and Recovery Services, PLLC, my private practice dedicated to holistic, human-centered therapy. Through ReHumanate, I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy, EMDR, and CBT to help clients process trauma, strengthen emotional resilience, and build meaningful lives in recovery.

My clinical style is grounded in empathy, integrity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal. I integrate trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to support clients through challenges such as PTSD, addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns shaped by trauma.

Services

The work starts where you are.

Focused care for the places life hurts, gets stuck, or asks more of you than you know how to give.

Trauma, PTSD & shame

Trauma can show up as hypervigilance, numbness, anger, avoidance, disconnection, or a sense that your past is still happening. We use targeted approaches such as EMDR and ART to help your nervous system process what it could not resolve then—without requiring you to retell every detail over and over.

Dusty is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and EMDR.

Addiction & recovery

Recovery is personal. Treatment should be, too. We support multiple pathways to recovery and work on the full picture: triggers, relapse patterns, relationships, identity, emotional regulation, and building a life that makes continued recovery possible.

Anxiety & emotional regulation

When your mind and body stay braced for impact, even ordinary life can feel exhausting. Learn how your patterns work, build skills that hold up outside the therapy room, and make choices from your values instead of your alarm system.

Couples & families

Conflict is rarely just about the last argument. We slow the cycle down, identify what keeps repeating, and create practical ways to communicate, repair, set boundaries, and stay connected through stress.

Parenting severe behaviors

When a child’s behavior is intense, families need more than generic parenting advice. We focus on understanding patterns, strengthening regulation and consistency, and helping caregivers respond with both steadiness and compassion.

Clinical supervision

Supervision for Texas LPC Associates pursuing full licensure, with thoughtful case consultation, ethical grounding, honest feedback, and support developing a confident, human clinical style.

The ReHumanate approach

Whole-person care, without the fluff.

We look beyond symptoms to the systems, relationships, habits, health, and meaning that shape a human life.

Change is bigger than one hour a week.

Therapy matters. So do sleep, movement, relationships, community, purpose, environment, and the practical realities of daily life. ReHumanate integrates these wellness domains into a clear, collaborative plan.

Understand

Make sense of what is happening, how it developed, and what keeps the pattern in place.

Stabilize

Build enough safety and regulation to make meaningful change possible—not just theoretically, but day to day.

Process

Use evidence-based therapy to address trauma, beliefs, behaviors, and emotional pain at the root.

Rebuild

Practice new choices, strengthen relationships, and create a life that supports the person you are becoming.

Evidence meets experience

No single method owns recovery.

There are multiple pathways to healing and recovery. We stay curious about what fits you, use proven methods with intention, and collaborate with community partners when broader support will help.

The goal is not dependence on therapy. It is greater capacity in your own life.
